Blog reflection
Well, this is going to be my last post of the year. I have enjoyed writing on here about what has been going on, but December is a crazy month for me and my family. I'm still homeschooling the high school student. I wish all of you a happy and safe holiday season. See you all next year.

Thanksgiving Break
Alert! Alert! New Information! Thanksgiving break was a needed time off. I enjoyed having the time top spend with family. But, when today rolled around, I was glad to get back to work. My student sent me a text wishing me a happy thanksgiving. He misspelled four words in the text. I have to say, to much texting makes one a bad speller.

Just another week
Alert! Alert! New Information! Well, nothing has happened this week so far. My student is back from D.C. He had a wonderful time and thanked me for "making" him go. I just could not see him passing up a chance to see the nation's capitol. I am teaching him to write a proper essay. The topic is a persuasive essay to make someone want to go see the Capitol who has never been. I am looking forward to see what he has to say. He write in a journal everyday for part of his grade and he has a unique writing style. I am also trying to convince him to let me put a picture of him on here. Wish me luck on that. For some reason teenage boys just do not like having their pictures taken.

Trip to DC
Alert! Alert! New Information! Well folks, my home school student is going to Washington DC for a field trip. He is lucky enough to have a mom that will take him. I would love to go with him but my duties of being a mom will keep me at home. I have set up a guide for them while they are in DC. He is to take pictures, with him in them, to help report what he did while he was there. He will also be writing a paper about his trip. We have been doing research on the internet so he will know what he is looking at. I'm so glad he has taking this opportunity to see the capitol.

Finished another book
Alert! Alert! New Information! I know I was just on here, but I have to tell you all about the fourth book in the House of Night Series. WOW! This girl really has problems. The first part of the book was just playing catch up. The second half was intense. Zoey, the main character, is trying to stop an evil man spirit that her mentor is trying to bring back. Zoey has enlisted the help of her friends, again. This time she has also asked her grandma for help. Things get worse. Her grandma was in a car wreck because a evil spirit is trying to hurt the people Zoey is close to. I don't want to give away the ending in case any of you decide to read the book. I'm going tomorrow to get the fifth book. I can't wait.
